This Sunday, April 10th, Leadership Kitsap is putting on a benefit 5K fun run for the Bremerton Rescue Mission, called"HEART 4 THE HOMELESS". The run will beginning and end at Evergreen Park. Registration opens at 8 am, starts at 9:30 am. entree fee is $15. Heart 4 the Homeless tee-shirts will be available for $10. Please see attached registration.
The Foundation will also
be presenting the Mission with 6 bunk beds for Georgia's house, our new Women & Children's Shelter. Georgia's House will have a dedication on April 18, 2011 at 5:00 PM, for more information please call me at (360) 813-5183 or email.
We would also like to invite you to be our guest at the 2nd Annual Spring Banquet which is being held on Thursday, May 5th at 6:30 PM at Peninsula Bible Fellowship. You will have the opportunity to hear about what we are doing, meet the staff and find out what our plans are for this year. Dinner will include music, entertainment and a great chance to connect with other supporters.
With the Matching Gift Challenge of $14,000 toward this shower unit, the donations are begining to come in. This is your op-portunity to double the power of your giving. The match is dollar for dollar of each gift up to $14,000 total. The total cost of the unit is $28,277.00. We are asking you to be part of this great opportunity. Just write 'SHOWER' in the remarks section of your check and your check will be worth double of what you contribute. Our goal is to raise these funds by June and get the shower unit into the community this summer. We are already over 8% there.

Each year the Bremerton Rescue Mission invites you to celebrate the good things God has done through the
Mission and invites you to become an even bigger part of what He desires for us. It is an opportunity to meet the Board, staff and some of he people we are assisting. Please come and discover the great things that God is doing.
It is your opportunity to have a great evening of entertainment, fine dinning and hear what your investment is doing. It is also a time when you can share your plans to help Mission in the coming year. There will be a coffee time before the meal that will give you an opportunity to meet some of our partners in ministry and see how we work together to bring 'Help and Hope' to the homeless of Kitsap County.
